A warm and friendly welcome in the name of Jesus Christ!
Our morning service is at 9:30am, blending the richness of tradition with the openness of progressive worship. Rooted in the Lectionary and shaped by the worship life of the Uniting Church, we gather to listen, pray, sing, and be renewed together. After worship, everyone is invited to share in fellowship over morning tea in the hall—a time of conversation, connection, and community.
Looking ahead with hope in the Spirit, we plan to begin an evening service that will be more inclusive, contemplative, and reflective in nature. This gathering will conclude with a light supper, offering space for deeper conversation and belonging.
Once a month, we also intend to host a Taizé-inspired evening service—a gentle time of prayer, song, and silence for all who are weary or burdened by life’s pressures. This service, too, will be followed by a simple shared meal, embodying Christ’s hospitality and peace.
Here, worship is not only about Sundays—it is about shaping lives of justice, compassion, and transformation throughout the week. Whether you come seeking spiritual nourishment, community, or simply a place to rest, you will find welcome here.
On arriving at our Church you will find plenty of parking. There is a small parking area in Dudley Avenue but there is plenty of street parking.
The entrance to our Church, which is wheelchair friendly, is in Dudley Avenue where you will be warmly welcomed by a member of our Congregation. Bathroom facilities are located in the Church Hall (adjacent to the church) with wheelchair access too.
Our services include readings from the Bible, hymns, prayers and a message from our Minister. Communion is held on the first Sunday of each month. Everyone is welcome to receive Communion. There are no barriers or conditions. It is the Lord Jesus Christ who invites, not us. Here, bread and cup are shared as signs of grace, not achievement; as gifts of love, not rewards for the worthy.
All that you need to participate in the morning service is displayed on the large screen. On special occasions, the liturgy is also provided in booklet form, offering another way to follow and engage in worship.
This, too, is being approached with both seriousness and joy, as we discern the Spirit’s leading. We warmly encourage families to bring their children into worship, trusting that the presence of young voices and curious hearts enriches the whole community. We long to share the stories of Jesus, the practices of prayer, and the rhythms of worship with all who are eager to listen—even the youngest among us. We believe children are not simply the church of tomorrow, but vital participants in the church of today.
With God’s grace, and through the blessing and support of parents, we are committed to developing intentional pathways that honour and nurture youth worship. This is not simply a program, but a strategic and Spirit-led movement to ensure that young people find their place at the heart of our community of faith.
We see immense potential in inviting youth to grow in the love of Jesus—discovering a faith that is alive, relevant, and transformative. In worship, they will be encouraged to bring their voices, their questions, their creativity, and their energy, shaping a church that reflects the diversity of God’s people.
Our hope is to cultivate spaces where young disciples can encounter Christ in ways that speak to their lives today, while preparing them to be leaders of compassion, justice, and hope for tomorrow.
